Featured Topic: Finding Health Information

Estimates are that about 150 million of us searched for health information online in the past year.  The latest Harris Poll (July 2008) found that among Americans who use the internet, 81% go online to look for health information.  And among those information seekers, the majority believe that the health information they obtain is reliable (86%) and report that they were successful (89%) in their search.  Well, in fact, not all internet health information is reliable.  This month we provide you with tips on how to assess whether or not you can trust the health information you're finding.
